Juvy’s Beauty Salon

A beauty salon situated in the heart of Blauwestad, Netherlands. Juvy has started her independent business since 2016. She wanted to have a website that showcases her services and beauty products in better lighting. She also wants to be more findable in the searches so more people can find her salon and physical shop in North Netherlands and Germany.

Juvy’s beauty bar / spa / hair salon had a website before. It was not updated for a while and the information isn’t clear to new visitors what services are being offered. From the brand name (Blue Island) and the visuals, it didn’t quite fit well with Juvy’s aesthetics. After a series of discovery call and feedback sessions with her, I was able to create a more fitting design for the website, filled with new information such as the price list and contact information.

Juvy’s Beauty also had a logo designed in low-resolution. What I did was to create that from scratch through illustrations and selected colors that work for print standards. For future marketing materials, it has been made professionally redone and print-ready.

Juvy also needed some new marketing materials for events that I had recommended to be in-line with the new design.

Juvy’s Beauty also had a logo designed in low-resolution and not fit for high-quality printing. What I did was to create that from scratch through illustrations and selected colors that work for print standards. For future marketing materials, it has been made professionally redone and print-ready.

Search & visibility

Juvy’s keyword and search visibility game was non-existent... until I helped their business get found better on the maps by setting up and adding important information that matters to people looking for a salon nearby.

Information such as opening times, locations served, website links, contact information, salon amenities, and About Us info were added. Now people can search for Juvy’s Beauty Salon and Google can recommend it to anybody finding a salon service in the areas covered. Not only in Blauwestad, but also in neighboring areas in Winschoten, Finsterwolde, Beerta, Dutch and German -borders in the north east Netherlands.

Print materials

Juvy’s beauty salon had a logo but it was not fit for high-quality printing, initially. What I did was to improve on that low-res and breathe new life to it, by way of selecting colors that work for print standards. I’ve also taken into consideration how the real Juvy’s beaty salon looks like and business-owner’s preference.

 

The salon actually screams ‘luxury’ and clean aesthetics. Not to mention a lot of feminine-geared products were made available in-store. I made sure this is reflected in the newly improved branding, making it consistent across marketing materials.Juvy also needed some new marketing materials for events (such as an upcoming Winter Sale) that I had recommended to be in-line with the new design. I made sure the visuals are made with visually-appealing elements and the logo + contact details are visible at a glance. We also try to exercise some creativity in there for the gift cards, making sure that the customers will find it easy to see at a moments notice what Juvy’s Beauty Spa is all about.

For future marketing materials, the logo and print mat’s have been professionally redone and are made to be print-ready.
